Today Vs when I first started lifting five years ago. I haven't always been consistent. I've struggle with illnesses and injuries but I've always come back to it and it's good to remind yourself that a few steps back doesn't mean you're back at the beginning. When I started my scoliosis was quite noticeable but over time I've masked it and strengthened the muscles to outwardly correct it. I get a bit less pain in my back now and combined with yoga I find lifting helps my fibromyalgia too. Everyone has to start somewhere. Hey all! So I decided to make my own fitness page to keep me motivated and maybe help others stay motivated as well! It’s not easy to stay on track but I know this might help me stay accountable! I’ll share a little bit of my story cause I think that’s a thing when people start these kinds of things? 🤷🏽‍♀️ I had a baby about 9 months ago, lost every tiny bit of self confidence I had and I felt completely lost. I was depressed, not eating right by eating less calories than my body needed and literally hated myself. I knew I wanted a change, something big. So as soon as I felt the time was right I took before photos and set myself a goal! I was 4 months PP when I decided to really commit to fitness every day. I started small, little gym and lots of home workouts. I used an ap on my phone to help me with workouts because I had no idea where to start. Just knew I had to start somewhere. After doing that for a month and staying committed I started to hit the gym more. I’m not sure why but I probably care way too much what people think about me. Everyone’s opinions mattered and now saying that out loud it sounds so silly. The only opinion that matters is my own. What I think and feel about myself is MOST important. Point being the gym is SO INTIMIDATING! Seriously.. I felt all eyes were on me when I had no clue what I was doing I felt so silly. BUT... I watched a ton of workout videos via Instagram and got help where I needed it. I still have little knowledge and probably do half the things I do wrong but what matters is I’m trying! My main goal is to remember that these things take time. I’ve never been this drastic or have ever made big changes like this and no I’m not competing in a bikini competition or trying to be better than anyone but myself. Today's workout finished with Bar Rows, my fav 💃 Full workout here below 4 X 10 WIDE GRIP LAT PULL DOWN SUPERSET 4 X 10 UNDERHAND PULL DOWNS – SITTING IN REVERSE 3 X 12-15 SEATED CABLE CLOSE GRIP ROW 3 X 50 LOWER AB FLUTTER KICKS 3 15-20 REVERSE CRUNCHES 3 X 12-15 GOOD MORNINGS 3 X 10>10 – 1 ARM DB ROW 3 X 10-15 T- BAR ROW (shown on video) + ... some random core workout. Haven't done core for a while. I usually do not do core in general. It works out on itself with other exercise performed, pretty much. 🙏 Had low energy today😑, so the weight was less than usual... 👇👇👇Because... 🤦‍♀️Haven't slept enough 🤦‍♀️. BUT - Any workout better than none! 👊 Agree?! So make sure you do sleep well to get the most out of your workouts because if you rested well you function mentally and physically better. But we all have those days we need time to finish what's on to do list that can affect our sleep hours... ✅ if you can, get good sleep at all times, everyday.  #SleepGoals

hate Monday’s , I guess because I can’t sleep the night before and I have to wake up early to drop of my son to school , I need to break that habit of sleeping late on the weekends . - Anyways did deadlifts, hip thrust & squats . Glad to see double plates on the barbell. Pretty disappointed that I couldn’t squat with the 25lbs 😞 maybe next month 🤷🏽‍♀️ or soon 🤔 😝 I just have to keep pushing myself. - Yes , I dye my hair back to pink/purple ? 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk what color it is now but it’s freaking pretty. Short story . When I took a shower the water turned my hair green 💀😂🙈 the water here is rough . In general base water sucks ! I need to retouch it though because I thought I covered all my hair and apparently I didn’t . I still see some blonde spots popping . (Oh , and my hair dyes are from arctic Fox .
