I don't know that I've ever really, truly been a morning person. I loooove sleeping, I love sleeping in, I prefer to be slow moving in the morning. I'm also pretty sure almost every gym selfie I've posted has started with some version of "I didn't want to get up this morning I had to drag myself out of bed uuuuuugh." I don't know why or when I got it in my head that you HAVE to work out in the morning, as if it's first thing in the morning or else the day is ruined and you might as well give up. I think I read an article a long time ago that it's better to exercise in the morning, but at this point in my life I'm pretty sure exercise at any time of the day is better than no exercise??? Like??? Possibly yes, the morning is the best time to go work out. But that doesn't mean going in the afternoon or evening somehow doesn't count! Especially if the alternative is not going at all, which is what has been happening when I don't go in the morning. . . ANYWAY that was a really long winded introduction to the fact that I went to the gym this evening. So here's a slightly different before and after: before and after my workout! Which included this kind of extension to the 360 tower. Lots of new toys in the gym to figure out and start a love/hate relationship with. My after is probably less sweaty and red faced than usual because I ended with a nice long stretching session. 🧘‍♀️ . Maybe at some point in my future I will have the energy and drive to get up in the morning and work out without questioning my will to live. But for now, exercising at all is what I need to be focusing on, not doing the perfect thing at the perfect time. ABS, STILL THERE? 🤨 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ NOPE but that’s more than okay! As I already mentioned I am currently bulking (eating in a surplus with main goal muscle growth) 🍞🥞🍝. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Obviously you will gain some bodyfat as well, BUT I must say for now that’s pretty limited #win. 🕺🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also stopped tracking my food, except to check if I get enough carbs and prots in. I now eat more (healthy) fats and I believe that has been a real gamechanger! Maybe during summer I was unknowingly too restricted on fats, maybe even so that my hormone balance was disturbed? 📉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🕵🏻‍♀️ I will do some more research because I find this shit SUPER interesting, anyone wants another post about this? 🍌🥑🧀 What is your experience with fat intake?

Sooooo , I didn’t get to make it to the actual gym today for a good shoulder pump, so I got creative in my garage . • • • Between working full time and juggling the mom life to 5 kiddos, we don’t always have time to do the things we want to do🤷🏼‍♀️ so my workout didn’t happen until after 9 pm , but I still managed to get it in !  #teamnosleep right !? • • • Did a couple shoulder workouts , followed by an ab circuit (didn’t record but 1 round ) and then added a quick 5 pull ups for fun 😝

🔈Triceps and Shoulders...and Always Abs. 🔈 🔹So, one of the advantages of going to the gym when I get off work is that people get to see me with my hair fixed and wearing makeup for once! 😂 Well...at least until I sweat it all off. Yeah, that looks way worse than no makeup at all! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🔹It’s been a busy week with all the changes, appointments, a party out of town at my mom’s center...and a date. ☺️ Next week should be...better. I think...maybe. 💁🏻‍♀️ 🔹So, I’m trimming down my workout to an hour and still keeping the same amount of time on the elliptical...an hour and a half total. Man I used to be hesitant about posting workout photos/videos and not posting cuz I felt like my results wasnt coming fast enough and my body wasnt changing, but now I'm like f it. I was so stuck on 'IMA START POSTING ONCE I GET WHERE I WANA BE' and showing the finished product. But honestly,I dont think I'll ever be satisfied. No matter how much my body change or physically fit I get, I'm still going to push to be a better healthier me. I'll rather show the progress than to just pop up like I did this shit like it's easy. IT AINT... Shit dont come overnight. Its alot of ups and downs when trying to get into shape. Sometimes you fall off and that's normal. We all human and I'm realizing that. I'm in no competition with anyone but myself. So ima start posting more and hopefully be an inspiration to others THAT IT IS POSSIBLE IF YOU STAY CONSISTENT. Show people and educate others on what to do and what I do. Plus this a good way to keep track of your own progress and growth throughout your journey. This seems to be a familiar sight 🤔 Today I had my 2nd knee surgery in 2 years. I started this account as a health account and hoped to share advice, build relationships/partnerships and learn new things myself. I haven't been 100% successful, but, ya know...life happens! This account started also as a recovery journey from my first surgery. Well. Here we are again. It turns out that my meniscus is garbage. It never really healed from the meniscus repair last time and so today he went in and trimmed it out. One side is pretty much gone. This means one thing: no more running. Having the orders of no running two years ago would have sent me into a deep depression. It would have completely crushed me. I must have sent that message loud and clear at the time because the doctor was scared to tell me 🤣 That was my thing. It was what got me from obese to healthy. I wasn't great at it, but it gave me pride, goals and kept me healthier. But now, I'm ok with it. I have already started working on weights and becoming stronger and maybe that will be my thing. I love biking too. And maybe I'll get better at swimming. It is all about attitude. You can be miserable or you can search out happiness. It's your choice. I'm going to continue (get back too, really. I've been MIA as I have been dealing with this all) to sharing my health journey. Back day. Get up off your ass and get working. Not always an easy thing to do and I get it... I used to feel good watching motivational videos all the time myself. But I realized the more I watched the more comfortable I got. Im not saying the videos are bad. They’re actually great. They’re full of useful info and I still watch them here and there. But don’t sit your ass on the bed all day listening to motivational videos and expecting things to change. You’ll feel good about yourself listening to these things... yeah, yeah, yeah... I am one who puts everyone else first. 3.5 years ago I decided to put myself first for once and started taking health supplements. Like I have never taken a multivitamin before. I had no idea what a probiotic was. And definitely had no idea that leaky gut caused a lot of my issues. Years and years of fertility drugs, OTC meds and antibiotics wreaked havoc on my body. I thought daily naps, drinking pop and splurging on chocolate was normal life 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have thyroid issues, anxiety, pcos and endometriosis. My mom has liver disease and diabetes. I found out that a close family member that has liver disease has a 74% chance of getting it as well. Say what?!? I kinda had a freak out moment. So I made a dr appt for my first ever physical. I’m also going to find out how I can get this test done to find out if I have liver disease. I’m really scared, but I would like to know as soon as possible so I can start treating it right away. You see I want to be healthy as possible for my kids. Be an example for them. Show them you have to treat your body right otherwise it can cause a lot of damage. The past 2 days I got my butt on the treadmill. I didn’t want to, but once I started I felt great.
