I hope this helps motivate others that if they want to make a change it is most certainly possible! Below are my tips on motivation for getting to the gym! . . 💖Put your gym clothes on straight away, whether thats from getting straight out of bed, getting out of the shower or once you have finished at work! Working hard to become better everyday 💪🏻 but a funny fact is that Im seeing more results today when I have no restrictions when it comes to my workouts and food. Im seeing better results now when I eat more, and train less (But heavier) about 4-5 days a week. My mind is happier and so is my body ❤️ don’t be so hard on yourself and have fun, the results will come!

ME IN 2015 -happy as can be -started working out in college, lifting weights 3 times a week and doing some cardio. i was so proud of my body and how strong i was getting. -i ate absolutely whatever i wanted when i wanted. college life, really. i loved the way i was and saw nothing wrong with the way i was. ME IN 2018 -happy as can be -lifting 4-6 days a week with the occasional cardio workout. i include LISS and HIIT every so often before and or after my workouts. -i pay A LOT more attention to diet. i eat intuitively making sure i have a high protein and carb intake, moderate fats and tons of fruits and veggies. i supplement protein shakes into my diet when needed and i have researched a lot on nutrition. SO WHAT MADE THE DIFFERENCE?! 1. MY GOALS. i spent 2015-end of 2017 building muscle and just enjoying my workouts for the heck of it. in the beginning of 2018 i decided i wanted to see definition, and to see all the muscle i had been building over the years. so i started a very slow cut. i want to keep this thing more of a lifestyle so i made the necessary lifestyle changes to get what i wanted. 2. TIME, CONSISTENCE, PATIENCE. change takes time. my transformation took me 3 years of building muscle and now i’m in one year of slowly cutting back on body fat. this is what happened as a result of consistency in the gym and having more control over what i ate. i feel 100% BETTER eating cleaner and killing my gym sessions with intensity and intention. 3. I WATCH WHAT I EAT. i cannot even stress this one enough. i started seeing the BIGGEST differences in my body when i took my nutrition seriously. it is SO HARD to get started on that path. and even now i’ll have cheat weeks and it’ll take me a hot minute to get back on track. i suggest loosely tracking what you eat and see how your food TRULY adds up. it can be eye opening to see WHAT you’re ACTUALLY eating in day. at the end of all this, i really can say I LOVED MYSELF THROUGH THE PROCESS. i am proud of my body in both of these photos. discouragement happens, sure, but that’s why i do what i do, to show you babes that it’s a journey, and to motivate you and show you love while you’re in YOUR JOURNEY! 🌟💪🏽💛

Off to train legs tonight with my gal  @emiiilystewart although not looking forward to it I haven’t trained since I was down in London, so I’ll be feeling it tomorrow😂. - Been trying to bulk a bit recently but any extra weight goes straight to my stomach 😭😂LIKE WHY it could easily go to my boobs but nah 🤷🏼‍♀️🙃 by the end of the day I certainly do not look like this 🤣. I get loads of dms of people saying the exact same but ME TOO don’t stress ☺️ if I was to properly bulk like I used to before social media I would look nothing like this but when you do this as your job it’s hard to do both 🤦🏼‍♀️ So for anyone out there struggling with the stomach weight don’t worry my before social media bulking pics would shock you all and I will try show you if I can find any pics 😂

Since its been a none stop puppy spam for the last few days, I thought I would throw in a post workout pic 😂 one thing I've learnt from Instagram this year is that you can tell a lot by the people in your life by who supports your content. Doesn't matter if it's gym pics, pet pics, food, memes, whatever it is. If you know someone and they never like or support your content, it says a lot about how they view you. I've had a lot of support on here this year from people close to me, and people that I barely know, as well as complete strangers. I've also noticed people who I consider friends who never show love on anything. Next year is shaping up to be amazing, and I'm finally in a place where I can happily leave those behind who contribute nothing to my life. Sure, you may have some protein here and there, but are you eating enough to maximize muscle growth❓Let’s cover the 4 protein commandments you need to follow to build rock solid muscle. _ PROTEIN CONSUMPTION✅: 1-gram per 1-pound of Bodyweight. I know that may sound like a lot, but that’s probably because you are not eating enough protein in the first place. The best way to stay on track with hitting your daily protein goal is to plan ahead. Know when you are eating your meals and bring snacks with you throughout your day. If you are serious about building rock solid muscle, you will take your protein consumption just as serious. _ It is crucial that you’re getting ✅20-grams or more of protein during each meal in order to hit the leucine-threshold. Leucine is one of the 3 branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). Leucine is considered the anabolic trigger to stimulate skeletal muscle protein synthesis. This is critical for building muscle. But in my personal opinion, these 4 things top the list of importance when it comes to packing on mass to your frame. - 1) CALORIE SURPLUS: You need to eat more calories than your burning in order to build muscle - 2) GET ENOUGH SLEEP: Sleep is when the muscle really gets the chance to recover and grow. Try to get 7-9 hours a night. - 3) PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD: You need to increase training volume over time in order to see results. You can do so by adding weight/sets/reps over time. - 4) STAY CONSISTENT: This, to me, is the most important. You can eat in a calorie surplus, get enough sleep, and use progressive overload, but if you aren't consistent with these things, your progress is gonna stall. Another one. The amount of work its taken to get to where I am. 8 months and 11 days of lifting 6 days a week (sometimes 7 days a week) plus trying to eat as clean as I can. It hasn't been easy. This shoulder workout is 🔥🔥 - - ➡️➡️➡️SWIPE ➡️➡️➡️ - - Speaking real to you..after thanksgiving, I feel off what I was working so hard for. I stopped counting my macros, still was hitting the gym but not nourishing my body the way I was supposed to. - - - This happens to everyone. There is always things that come up in your life that makes you put other things on hold. I realized what I was doing and got my a$$ back in there. - - - Motivation is a daily struggle...and trying to stay persistent. How did I get back? So I remember waking up next to my BF  @bendeg . We were living in this old car for months. We were broke. She was red. And she was powerful. One morning he said : "let's go get a job as fishermen".
