These 2 pictures go from 30th Oct - today....and +0.9kg difference. It can be hard to see physical changes when bulking, especially when it’s done over a long period of time. Also the changes are certainly nowhere near as visible when compared to a cutting phase. So it’s really nice to see some visible signs of growth, especially where my shoulders and arms are concerned

This way as we create momentum we can all resolve any issue and any nothing can get in our way of success. All problems will easier to deal with and solved quicker without the the thought of negativity. - Life is something that will always throw problems and hurdles in our way and across our paths we always have two options to take the problems and let them defeat us or smash through these issues and come out the other side a bigger, smart more experienced individual. - I’ve been through so many different challenges in life both physically and mentally but my will and my determination for success and focus has got me through so many tough times. Hell there’s been times where I’ve wanted to throw in the towel but I never have because I have a vision and I have goals that no one or nothing can stop me from getting there. A hectic weekend of finalising my Personal Training qualifications has come to an end. Finished an hour or 2 ahead of schedule today, so managed to fit in a short Push session. 3rd exercise in, top set, 20kg each side. Cable Flyes  @flex_lewis style. HS ‘flat’ bench press. I’m not planning on slowing down yet.. mentally exhausted, but physically the best I’ve been. 2.5pps for 5-6 last set. Will back off from here and move onto an Incline Press😁

What I’ve been thinking about whilst doing cardio this morning is how complicated some people decide to program their sessions - even if they are still beginners. They chop and change exercises, rep ranges, tempos, set complexity every session in order for them to ‘trick the muscle memory’. Muscle memory doesn’t exist. When you change the exercise order, it means you have more energy and focus to put into that exercise. For example, if you’re going to put Hamstring Curl at the beginning of your legs session rather than having it as your 3rd exercise, you’re able to put much more into that exercise. There is no ‘muscle memory’. If you really want to build a solid frame, then you need to pick the exercises that work best for you, and get strong at them. Perfect your execution of each rep, then progress. You’re never too strong for an exercise.

Training Legs is as much a mental battle as it is physical. It’s pointless saying you train hard when you’re leaving 2-3 reps in the tank every set. 4pps here x 8. First exercise in, 3rd and final working set. Once you feel you like you’ve given everything, bite down and suck it up. Make every single rep count. If you leave a rep in the tank, you’ve missed an opportunity to improve.

Today’s Pull session ✅ - Somewhat different to the typical session I have programmed. Feel certain parts of my body are lagging compared to their opposite counterparts. - The solution: reduced load on multiple unilateral exercises. Will run this for a few sessions and see how I progress. - You can also see I still haven’t mastered the lighting yet🙄
